An endowment is a fund controlled by the Catholic foundation of North Georgia that is set aside by the parish for the parish. The Archdiocese, while partnered with the foundation, have no control over this fund. 

The endowment is contributed to by the parish in many ways. Modes of giving are:

• Donations: The easiest way to add to the endowment fund is through donations, whether of ones own will or a second collection at mass.
• Will/Estate Gifts: Giving a share or all of your property/life insurance would be a method to add to the parish endowment fund.
• Securities/Assets: You can give through stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that are then valued and that value is placed in the endowment fund. 

The parish endowment fund is completely handled by the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, who never uses the funds but merely manages, collects, values, and directs capital to the parish's endowment fund.
