Ministry is the nourishment of the faith - both your own and that of others. It is how we serve God and his church by our time and talent. Ministry is an important part of our parish. This is how we reach out, and this is how YOU can get involved in the liturgy!

An altar server is a lay assistant to a priest or deacon during Catholic liturgy. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as retrieving and carrying religious articles, ringing the altar bell and other assignments.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priests by distributing communion at Sunday Masses. Additionally, they take communion to the sick and homebound.
Eucharistic Ministers must have received the sacrament of Confirmation and be at least 18 years of age. Additionally married Eucharistic Ministers are required to have been married within the Catholic Church.
Lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord at daily, Sunday, Holy Day Masses, and read the General Intercessions at all the Masses.
Lectors are required to be confirmed Catholics who attend mass regularly. Also, they must provide careful and thoughtful preparation of the assigned readings.
The Music Ministers research and select the proper hymns, songs and music for the weekend parish liturgies.
Any parish member is welcome, especially those that have a desire to pray in song.
Members meet/practice every Tuesday at 6pm in the church.

This ministry counts the offertory collections and contributions to the parish each week adhering to the Atlanta Archdiocese Best Practices and Procedures. Data is electronically entered using a specified software package monitored by the Archdiocese. There is one observer/supervisor and two counters each week to count and deposit collected offerings.
Membership requires the ability to use simple math and money counting skills with calculators.
We meet for approximately 3-4 hours each week at a designated time and place.
The Sacristan is responsible for coordinating and setting up for both Liturgy of the Word and Liturgy of the Eucharist, which means preparing all the books, vessels, offertory, and incense when appropriate. Lighting the appropriate candles; preparing priests vestments; identifying the assigned lectors, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers. Additional duties include proper mass preparations for the sacraments such as funeral; weddings; First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Members are required to know the Liturgy format.
Our only meetings are when there are changes to our routine or when called for by our pastor.
Ushers assist parishioners and visitors as they enter church for Mass. They assist finding seating for congregants if the need arises. They help the disabled, and if requested, arrange to have Holy Communion brought to their pews.
Additionally, they ensure congregants are available for the Offertory Presentation of the Gifts.
Members are caring, reliable, conscientious and dedicated individuals.
Meetings are called if the need arises.
